Dr. A. Kattan graduated as a doctor of optometry and ocular science in 1992 from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia in Barcelona, Spain. He earned his master’s degree in advanced optometry and vision therapy at Centro Boston de Optometriá in Madrid, Spain in 1998. He has also completed several continuing education courses and seminars. With decades of experience, Dr. Kattan has practiced comprehensive family vision care, pediatric vision care and vision therapy – as well as providing specialty contact lens fittings and low-vision aids – in Spain, Lebanon, and Canada. Owner and optometrist at I-Care Family Vision & Eyecare since 2009, Dr. Kattan is a proud member of the Alberta Association of Optometrists and the Alberta College of Optometrists. Married for over 20  years, he is the father of four children: Omar, Leila, Jenna, and Aminah.
